Get ready to travel back in time to watch “Prom 1959” performed by the MTHS Drama Club! This performance is an immersive experience that will show off the music, dance, fashion, and even the foods and drinks of the ‘50s.
This very unique experience will be performed in the commons, but the audience will be able to move freely between the main common area and the cafeterias to encounter multiple stories all at once. Will you learn about the queen bee of the school, Kathy? Or discover a potential friends-to-lovers story? You get to choose!
Interacting with the cast is highly recommended for all ages! You will have the chance to dance all night to your favorite ‘50s songs and even participate in competitions. Not only is there a hula-hoop contest, but the Drama Club would love to see you wearing a costume that truly represents the era of the night. Who knows, maybe you can win a prize for “Best ‘50s Costume”!
