The presidential election will be here before we know it

The two presidential nominees for this year’s campaign, Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama, have two different plans for our country in the upcoming four years.

Governor Romney may have an 89-page PDF describing his economic plan, but his plan for healthcare is rather vague. His main plan was to repeal Obamacare, even though it is practically identical to RomneyCare. He would block grant funds for Medicaid and the uninsured, and instead offer the states resources to help the chronically ill.

President Obama is very keen on ending the war in Afghanistan, although his opponent is against it. This is America’s longest war, and the prospect of withdrawing our troops completely could be possible with Obama. The United States and NATO allies affirmed a plan that would leave international forces in a non-combative, supportive role in Afghanistan by the end of 2014.

Currently, the polls are even between Romney and Obama. The date of the election is November 2, 2012.
