Twenty-three-year-old Terence Tyler shot and killed two of his co-workers and himself at an Old Bridge Pathmark at 4 A.M. on August 31. The victims of the shooting include 18-year-old Christina LoBrutto and 24-year-old Bryan Breen. Wakes for the victims were held the following week at the Old Bridge Funeral Home and the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, respectively. Tyler’s Twitter contains very suggestive tweets that certainly help prove his guilt. Three years prior to the shooting, he tweeted “smh is it normal to want to kill ALL of ur coworkers? Maybe but I’m actually in a position where I can, smh.” Tyler struggled with depression, causing him to leave the Marine Corp early and begin working at the nearby supermarket. What caused him to open fire and kill himself is still unclear, though family members say he never got over his mother’s death five years prior.
